Mayor Gordon JacksonFriday 13 May

7pm               The Mayor, Councillor Gordon Jackson, accompanied by Councillor Nikki Nelson-Smith, joins the Mayors and Chairmen of Surrey for a Charity Black & White Ball at the Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate; by invitation of the Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, Councillor Mrs Joan Spiers.  Proceeds from the evening will go to Councillor Spiers’ chosen charities YMCA East Surrey and The Royal British Legion.

Saturday 14 May

10am              The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Nigel Manning, accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress, Councillor Marsha Moseley, attends the Farncombe Youth Football Club Tournament at Meade’s Park, Farncombe.

7pm               The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, attends the Guildford Symphony Orchestra Concert, ‘Viva Espana!’ at G Live, Guildford.

7pm               The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress, Councillor Marsha Moseley, joins the Mayors and Chairmen of Surrey for a Charity Masquerade Ball at the Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Park; by invitation of the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor Joanne Potter.  Proceeds from the evening will go to Councillor Potter’s chosen charities Alzheimer Café Camberley, Sebastian’s Action Trust and Parity for Disability.

Sunday 15 May

7pm               The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, attends the Guildford Group Travel Showcase Welcome BBQ for Tour Operators at the Guildford Harbour Hotel.

Monday 16 May

8.20am           The Mayor visits George Abbot School, Guildford, to give a talk to the Year 10 Personal & Social Education students about Local Government and Mayoral duties.

11.15am         The Mayor visits the Mumpreneurs Networking Club Bus Tour Guildford being held at the Odeon Guildford.

Tuesday 17 May

9am                The Mayor welcomes the Guildford Travel Workshop Coach Tour Fam visit to the Guildhall, Guildford.

11.55am         The Mayor visits George Abbot School, Guildford, to give a talk to the Year 10 Personal & Social Education students about Local Government and Mayoral duties.

2.15pm          The Mayor attends the Inner Wheel Club of Guildford’s 90th Birthday Celebration at Shalford Village Hall, Shalford.

6.45pm          The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, a reception for the Surrey Magistrates Association to the Guildhall, Guildford.

7.55pm          The Mayor and Mayoress attend the Guildford Barbershop Harmony Club Gala Night at Bellfields Youth and Community Centre, Guildford.

Wednesday 18 May

9.30am            The Mayor attends the Abbot’s Hospital Governors Meeting and Annual General Meeting in the Presence Chamber at Abbot’s Hospital, Guildford.

11am               The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, attends the Guildford & Godalming Croquet Club’s Welcome Reception for the WCF Golf Croquet World Team Championship at Broadwater Sports Club, Godalming.

1.10pm           The Mayor and Mayoress attend the University of Surrey’s Benefactors’ Concert at the PATS Studio 1 at the University of Surrey, Guildford.

Thursday 19 May

12pm              The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, attends a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, London.

6.45pm           The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress, Councillor Marsha Moseley, attends the ABF Surrey Beating Retreat at Gordon’s School, Woking.

Saturday 21 May

10.45am          The Mayor attends the Project Aspire – Chelsea FC Workshop at King’s College Astro Turf, Guildford.

7pm                The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, attends the Goldhawks Basketball Annual Awards Evening at Clandon Regis Golf Club, Clandon.

Sunday 22 May

1.30pm           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Sue Jackson, attends the Guildford Borough Council’s ‘Let’s Get Moving’ event at Tongham Community Centre, Tongham.
