Saturday 24 August

10.30 The Mayor, Councillor Richard Billington, attends Guildford Archery Club, at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy, for a practice session, to help prepare him to shoot the first arrow to open the Acorn Tournament on Bank Holiday Monday, 26 August.

Sunday 25 August

12:00 The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Marsha Moseley, accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends the Egham Royal Show President’s Lunch at Caddy’s Field, Egham.

Bank Holiday Monday, 26 August

09.00 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Lynda Billington, attends Guildford Archery Club at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy, where the Mayor will shoot the first arrow to open the Acorn Tournament.

13:45 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, officially opens the Normandy Parish Council Village Fete at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy.

Sunday 1 September

10:15 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, officially launches this year’s Guildford Walkfest at Stoke Park Nurseries, Stoke Park, Guildford.

12:30 The Mayor and Mayoress attend the National Mayala & Borneo Veterans Association’s Malaysian Independence Day Lunch at Cecil Ince Hall, West Clandon.

Wednesday 4 September

19:00 The Mayor and Mayoress, Leader and Managing Director of Guildford Borough Council host a reception to welcome Oberbϋrgermeister (Lord Mayor) of Freiburg, Mr Martin Horn and a delegation from Freiburg City Council as they visit Guildford to celebrate 40 years of the twinning of our two towns.

Thursday 5 September

10:00 The Mayor and Mayoress join the Lord Mayor of Freiburg and delegation for a programme of activities, including tours of local heritage sites, G Live and the Silent Pool Distillers.

10:30 The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by her Consort, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends the Lodge Brothers Funeral Exhibition at Guildford Rugby Football Club, Godalming.

19:00 The Mayor and Mayoress, Leader and Managing Director of Guildford Borough Council host a Civic Dinner at the Guildhall in honour of the 40th Anniversary of the Twinning of Guildford and Freiburg. They will be joined by members of the delegation from Freiburg and the Guildford Twinning Association.

Friday 6 September

09:30 The Mayor and Mayoress join the Freiburg delegation at Guildford Harbour Hotel before travelling to the University of Surrey for a short tour of the campus.

11:15 The Mayor, Mayoress and delegation attend a presentation by Simone Pflaum, Head of Sustainability Management, City of Freiburg entitled “Localising the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in the City of Freiburg, at the 5GIC (James Clerk Maxwell Building).

14:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress and the Freiburg delegation, attends the presentation of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service by the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr Michael More-Molyneux, to the Friday Swimmers at Guildford Spectrum, Parkway, Guildford.

Saturday 7 September

11:30 The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home ‘Big Day Out’ at Stoke Park, Guildford.
