Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt After Collision With Tractor

A motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries after colliding with a tractor on the A246 at West Horsley on Tuesday evening (September 10).

Police accident signThe incident on the Epsom Road, close to the Squires garden centre, happened at 8.45pm when a black Yamaha 750 motorcycle and a green and yellow John Deere tractor were in collision.

The 44-year-old motorcyclist was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting where he remains in a serious condition.

The driver of the tractor was not injured.

The road was closed in both directions for around five hours.
