New Guildford Band Release Christmas Single

A new Guildford Band called When We Run have just released their first single called Over Christmas. Written by the youngest member of the band, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Jasmine Allan, aged 14.

Encouraged by their school music teacher Mrs Robbins to turn the words written in class into a band song, the four young people took up the challenge and produced their version together with the video in a couple of days.

The band pictured, are, from left, Ali Haxton (lead guitar), John Rozelle (drums and backing vocals) Jasmine Allan (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Bailey Stapledon (bass guitar and vocals).

The band is planning a charity gig with other young musicians sometime towards the end of February in the glass pavilion at Clandon Wood Surrey Hills Natural Burial Reserve. They will also be performing at the Undercover Festival in Woking in September next year.
