Cllr Goodwin told The Dragon NEWS: “Nothing concrete to update you with or share at the moment. Options were discussed.”

In a Facebook post, Lorimer burn, chair of St Catherine’s Village Association, reported: “This was an initial meeting to exchange views. I’m very pleased to say that Jim was very much in “listening mode”; we had much to say…

“There cannot be much to report at this early stage (although much was discussed), except to say that Jim has listened carefully and will now be in discussion with the Tenant Farmer who works the land, and the owners.

“Jim only joined Loseley last December, and we formed the impression that he is keen to significantly improve relations with local communities, so we are very hopeful for a positive response which we will report as soon as we have any new information.”

The Guildford Dragon NEWS has given Loseley an open invitation to comment.
