Notice: Matrix Trust’s Fundraising Golf Day

The Matrix Trust is holding a fun golf day to help raise funds for its work supporting young people in Guildford.

It takes place at Guildford Golf Club on Friday, April 8, and there’s lots going on during the day. See poster below.

Tee off for £80 per person or £295 for a team of four players.

The Matrix Trust exists as a Christian charity to be a catalyst for transforming communities.

It works co-operatively and creatively in the community and seeks to connect churches, projects and youth workers with a particular focus on youth and emerging cultures.

Its vision is to see lives and communities transformed and foundations renewed in people’s lives.

Among its roles, it works with young people in schools and youth clubs, and since 2000 has run its successful Ready 4 Action programme each May bank holiday weekend in which young people get stuck in helping local communities with practical jobs such as gardening, decorating, removing rubbish, clearing public areas, painting and decorating.
