Notice: Activate Learning’s Free Webinars for Prospective Apprentices and Employers

Activate Learning, whose educations centres include Guildford College and Merrist Wood College, is hosting free webinars focusing on apprenticeships as part of its Active Apprenticeships scheme.

They are being held from February 5 to 11, to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week.

Attend a free webinar to hear about the benefits of apprenticeships.

People interested in becoming an apprentice can book via Eventbrite and attend its Gain Skills for Life – Become an Apprentice webinar on Monday, February 6, from 9,15 to 10am.

Attendees will learn more about: The exciting opportunities apprenticeship programmes on offer and current vacancies, what apprenticeships are and the benefits of being an apprentice, what employers think of apprenticeships, why you should do an apprenticeship with Activate Apprenticeships.

Samuel McSweeney of LM Electrical Services will be sharing his views as an employer and his own experience of being an apprentice.

Employers who are interested in taking on an apprentice or up-skilling their current employees, can book Via Eventbrite and attend Using Apprenticeships to Plug Skills Gap webinar on Tuesday, February 6, from 8am to 9am.

Attendees will learn more about how apprenticeships can: attract new talent and can be used to up-skill and retrain existing talent, bridge skills gaps and provide cost-effective talent development tailored to their business needs, enhance diversity and inclusion and enable them to develop talent and plan a pipeline.

National Apprenticeship Week recognises and celebrates the accomplishments of apprentices and their employers across England.
