On Friday, November 22, Guildford-based charity Headway Surrey is hosting a fundraising Christmas decoration workshop.
It takes place at Headway House, North Road, Stoughton between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
Headway Surrey supports adults with acquired brain injury to live well with their brain injury and optimise their cognitive rehabilitation recovery.
The workshop promises to be an opportunity to learn new skills that can be used year after year.
Headway will provide an array of coloured paper from which you can create free-standing or hanging paper Christmas trees, hanging stars and doves.
All paper craft-making materials will be provided. However, if you have a Christmas colour scheme at home, feel free to take your own paper or Christmas wrapping paper.
Welcome hot drinks will be available on arrival, with nibbles and homemade cakes later and festive music to inspire your creativity.
The workshop costs £15 per person, including all materials and refreshments. Numbers are limited so tickets must be booked in advance as soon as possible.
Headway House is at 21 North Road, Stoughton, GU2 9PU. (Park in bays A to E outside, or there is free on road parking in North Road.)
Headway will also host family support lunches for families and carers from 12.30pm to 2pm on Monday, November 11 and Monday, December 9 and on the second Monday of every month thereafter. Contact Headway for venue details.
All are also welcome to drop-in session between 10.30am and 1.30pm at Headway House on Friday, December 6 and the first Friday of every month – donations for coffee will be appreciated.
Headway will also host an open house and mince pie morning on Monday, December 2 from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
