A new exhibition at Ripley Museum focuses on the memories of local people who worked in service in the ‘big houses’ of Send, Ripley and Ockham.
“Life Below Stairs” runs until the end of January 2020 and is based on reminiscences recorded in the 1980s.
The exhibition also features a recreation of an Edwardian kitchen.
All visitors will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win The Official Downton Abbey Cookbook.

Ripley Museum is next to Ripley Village Hall and is open on Saturdays between 10am and 12.30pm. For more details visit: https://sendandripleyhistorysociety.co.uk/museum/.
