Dapdune Wharf’s tearoom has been transformed into a book shop this Christmas.
Visitor Experience Volunteer, Phil Laker said: “The shop is packed with super stocking fillers, children’s books, fiction, non-fiction, DVDs and CDs and visitors can choose a lucky dip present for a £1.00 donation.
“Visitors may also bring along books they would like to donate. New donations serve a quarantine period before they go on sale.”
Opening times are Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5.30pm on December 12, 13 and 19 and 20.
Phil said: “We are extending opening into Christmas week, with visitors also welcome on Monday, December 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23.”
Entry to the book shop is from Wharf Road, for pedestrians and for vehicles. Car parking is available at Dapdune Wharf, with 4 hours free parking for National Trust members. Parking for non-members is via the PayByPhone app, £5 for 4 hours, £8 all day. Visitors are welcome to park in the car park and enjoy a walk as part of their visit too.
