Visitors will be able to buy an early Christmas gift, Christmas cards or Christmas raffle ticket.
This registered charity supports adults across Surrey with acquired or traumatic brain injury and the open day is on Wednesday, November 30, from 10am to noon, at Headway House, 21 North Road, Stoughton, Guildford GU2 9PU.
No entry fee, just turn up and have a look around. Anyone with an interest in acquired or traumatic brain injury and cognitive rehabilitation is also welcome.
People suffering from a brain injury from a stroke, road traffic incident, sports accident, trip, fall, assault, combat, hypoxia, aneurysm, tumour, encephalitis, meningitis and so on, can benefit from support by Headway Surrey
At the open morning there will be displays of its work and art on show. Staff will be on hand to answer question on the work they do.
It has a variety of services that include: one-to-one support, group sessions, counselling, a helpline, drop-in sessions, coffee mornings, social sessions, art, creative writing, boccia, tai chi, professional lunch and learn online sessions, six-week courses for families and survivors on Zoom and other support to improve recovery after a brain injury.
