Notice: Support Citizens Advice South West Surrey on Sponsored Walk

The Guildford Legal Walk, taking place on Monday, June 26, is a 10km sponsored walk through the Surrey countryside to raise vital funds for the provision of free legal advice in Surrey.

Funds raised go directly to local legal advice agencies such as Citizens Advice South West Surrey.

There are 35 separate teams walking shoulder to shoulder as fellow members of the Surrey legal community such as judges, law firms, barristers, advice agencies, in house legal departments and university law groups.

Citizens Advice South West Surrey says demand for legal advice services has risen dramatically over the past year.

The rising cost of living has heaped immense pressure on legal advice agencies who are struggling to cope with such unprecedented demand.

It believes everybody should be able to receive legal advice when they need it most.

And adds that supporting the Guildford Legal Walk, you can help to ensure the people of your community have fair access to justice, and the beneficiary agencies can keep the lights on, and the doors open for the people who need them most.
