This Saturday, November 24, is a big event in the Surrey Postcard Club’s social calendar.

It holds its annual fair at St Peter’s School in Horseshoe Lane East, Merrow, GU1 2TN. There will be thousands of postcards on show on a variety of themes and it is an ideal time to buy cards or just browse.

The many dealers who attend this event will almost certainly have something of interest for collectors.

If you have any old cards which you wish to dispose of, why not take them along for a valuation; you may be surprised how much they are worth.

Doors open from 10am to 4pm and entrance fee is £1 of which 50p goes to Children in Need.  Parking is free and tasty refreshments are available all day.

The Surrey Postcard Club has been meeting in Guildford since 1979.  Every third Wednesday in the Friends Meeting House in Ward Street at 8pm. There are talks on a variety of postcard related subjects to which visitors are always welcome.
