Notice: University Of Surrey Hustings For County Council Elections: April 29

The University of Surrey’s politics department and politics society is holding a hustings for the Surrey County Council elections on Thursday, April 29 at 6.30pm.

The president of the university’s politics society, Sam Buss, said: “The event is open to all – students, staff, and Guildford residents. It’s your opportunity to hear directly from your local candidates, as well as ask any questions you may have.

“This will be a non-selective hustings taking place entirely online with representatives from different political parties participating.”

The confirmed candidates include Lucy Conner, Residents 4 Guildford & Villages, Guildford South West; Brian Creese, Guildford Labour Party, Guildford West; John Morris, The Peace Party, Guildford West; and George Potter, Lib Dem candidate for Guildford East.
