Photo Feature: Early Spring Flowers in the Castle Grounds

By the meteorological calendar, spring starts today, March 1.

Although the weather remains for the most part rather chilly, early spring flowers have been blooming for a few weeks now.

Volunteer photographer Daniella West has been taking photos of flowers in Guildford’s Castle Grounds over the past couple of weeks, which we publish here, and we think they’re rather lovely!

And here are some of Daniella’s general views of the Castle Grounds in which the later spring bedding plants can be seen getting ready to bloom.
