Police Ask – Do You Recognise Man In CCTV Image

Detectives in West Surrey are appealing for help from members of the public to help in identifying the man seen in this CCTV image.

Officers want to speak with the man in connection with a make off without payment at a petrol station in the Jacobs Well area of Guildford last week in which more than £65 worth of petrol was stolen from a Sainsbury’s garage. The incident happened in Clay Lane sometime around 2.15pm on Wednesday, May 9.

They are also appealing for anyone who may have seen a vehicle with the registration number N670 CCF which has been linked with a number of vehicles used in a series of similar offences across the boroughs of Surrey Heath, Waverley, Guildford and Elmbridge.

Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference GD/13/3792. Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
