Police Charge 14-Year-Old Boy With Bellfields Murder

Surrey Police this evening (Friday, August 16) has stated that a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder following the discovery of the body of 54-year-old Neil Tulley at an address in the Bellfields area of Guildford earlier this week.

The teenager is due to appear at North Surrey Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, August 17.

A murder investigation was launched following the discovery of Mr Tulley’s body at an address in Cedar Way just after 10am on Tuesday, August 13.

A 22-year-old man, who was arrested on Wednesday, August 14, on suspicion of murder, is currently undergoing treatment for injuries sustained before his arrest and remains under police guard in hospital.

The police say that the investigation is ongoing and further updates will follow in due course.

As previously reported, a 49-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail and is due to return to Woking police station on August 29.
