Having spoken to each other briefly through the car window, the suspect then got out of the vehicle and charged at the victim, armed with a weapon, and attacked him.

The suspect is described as an Asian man wearing dark trousers, a maroon/burgundy t-shirt, and a baseball cap.

The police are also looking to identify the victim of the assault – a man wearing a black jacket, shoes and trousers, with a food delivery bag on his back.

Police said: “If you have any information on either of these people, please contact us via direct message quoting PR/45250089848.”
