The Portsmouth Road (A3100) in Guildford as it leaves Guildford heading for Godalming is to be closed this weekend.

The closure is to allow the dismantling of a crane that has been used on the Plaza building site next to the H Bar (formerly The Cannon public house).

The road will be closed to all traffic in both directions at 7 am tomorrow (March 15) until 6pm on Sunday (March 17).

Diversions will be in place and will be signposted.
