Did You See Compton A3 Incident In Which Pedestrian Was Killed?

Surrey Police continues to appeal for witnesses following a collision on the A3 at Compton last Wednesday, November 30 2016.

The collision, involving a pedestrian and a lorry, happened at around 1.40pm on the southbound carriageway prior to the A31 Junction.

The pedestrian, a 55-year-old man, died at the scene.  An inquest into his death was opened on Thursday, December 8 and is ongoing.

Sergeant Jamie Dann from Surrey Roads Policing Unit, said: “If you witnessed the collision or events prior to the collision please get in contact with us as soon as possible.

“We are particularly keen to speak to anybody who was travelling northbound of the A3 that day and saw the collision or any events leading up to or after the collision.”
