Have You Seen Missing Man Viktor Ivanelo?

Viktor Ivanelo, 21, had lodgings in Guildford

Police officers are  “increasingly concerned” about a missing 21-year-old man who has lodgings in Guildford. An appeal for information about his whereabouts has been launched.

Viktor Ivanelo, 21, left a friend’s house in Esher around 2am on Sunday (February 26) and has not been seen since.

Police officers’ concerns for his safety grew after a number of his belongings were found at the side of a horse track in Chessington around 11.40am on Sunday.

Viktor is a student at the University of Surrey. He has lodgings in Guildford although his permanent address is in South West London. He has not been seen at either address since he went missing.

Viktor Ivanelo, he was not wearing glasses when last seen.

He was wearing a grey formal jacket, blue jeans and smart shoes and carrying a black over the shoulder bag which may have had a laptop inside. He was not wearing his glasses when he left the address in Esher.

Detective Inspector Jim Strugnell, who is overseeing the investigation, said: “Viktor has not made contact with anyone since leaving the address in Esher on Sunday and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. We would like him to make contact with us as soon as possible so that we can confirm that he is safe and well.

“We are also appealing to anyone with any information as to his whereabouts to come forward as a matter of urgency. We are carrying out a number of enquiries, including searches of the area where his belongings were found, but any other information or sightings would help us enormously.”

A police statement concluded: “If you can help, please contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference number 45170020251.”
