On Sunday, November 8, at 10.15am, the Mayor of Guildford, Nikki Nelson-Smith, will arrive at Guildhall in the High Street to lead the borough procession to Holy Trinity Church for a annual of service of remembrance. Following the service the procession will join representatives from local service organisations as they proceed to the Castle Grounds for the wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial.

Councillors, uniformed and voluntary organisations will assemble at the Ash Centre car park by 10.15am on Sunday, November 8, to parade to the Ash War Memorial, led by a lone piper at 10.35am. The service of remembrance will be led by local clergy accompanied by the North East Hampshire Area School Band. The parade will then return to the Ash Centre for dismissal by the parade marshal.  Tea and coffee will be served in the Ash Centre afterwards.

On Wednesday, November 11, a two-minute silence will be observed in Guildford High Street, with a short service of remembrance held on the balcony of the Guildhall.
