Shop Front: Havwoods Luxury Flooring Specialists Comes to Guildford

Havwoods, the wood floor specialists, drove into town in a magnificent old-fashioned red London bus and wowed the shoppers in the town centre.

Offering quality engineered real wood flooring and internal cladding and external composite decking and cladding, the shop was opened on July 14. Showroom manager of the new store Derek Gurr, said response from customers visiting the shop had been very encouraging.

The Havwoods store at 11 North Street has a wide range of samples for potential customers.

He said: “I’ve always loved Guildford. It’s Surrey’s county town and our market research showed a 50-mile radius covered Chichester in the south, St Albans to the north and and the prosperous South-East. We feel our luxury and affordable products will appeal to lots of people in this area.

“One professional client was delighted as it meant they could just pop in to discuss their projects and take samples home.”

Havwoods assistant manager Gosia Streich with shop manager Derek Gurr are there to advise customers about the wide range of quality engineered flooring and cladding available.

Derek said, we would love to welcome anyone to view our wonderful range, mainly in stock and at a wide range of budgets.
