Loake Shoemakers opened in Guildford in December 2018 in the lovely Grade II listed building owned by the County Club.
It is a family owned company, started in 1880, and it manufactures traditional and contemporary handcrafted shoes with one simple philosophy; affordable luxury, for all.
All its shoes are handmade with a choice from casual to formal. Loake Shoemakers caters for a huge range of sizes and fittings from sizes 5 to 13 and, as you would expect from a traditional English shoe maker, in half sizes as well.
Manager, Ben Fereday, said: “We have enough size variation in our shoes to fit every foot.
“The shop has been doing well since we opened at the beginning of December last year. Loake shoemakers has a fantastic reputation for quality and people are still buying into quality.”
Even though the firm has been making shoes since 1880, Loake Shoemakers only opened its first shop in 2011. Now with 17 shops in the UK and more planned, Loake Shoemakers still offers the handcrafted shoes that its customers have so appreciated over the years.
Ben added: “Our aim is to give excellent customer service and help all of our customers with our product knowledge and our measuring and fitting service.
“Why don’t you come and see us for an introduction to our premium handcrafted selection of shoes or just for advice on how to look after and maintain your Loake shoes.”
You can find Loake Shoemakers at 156 High Street, Guildford GU1 3HJ or call on 01483 568171 or email at guildford@loake.co.uk
