Shop Front: Partisan Cheesemonger & Deli Now Open In Chapel Street

Partisan Cheesemonger & Deli has opened in the food and restaurant Chapel Street area of Guildford.

It is independently run by business partners Owen and Mike and opened on October 15.

The shop is very focussed on providing the finest cheeses, the tastiest charcuterie and very best artisan breads for the Guildford community.

They try to source as locally as possible to secure the best. As a result, the vast majority of the produce on sale is British.

Owen and Mike said: “We are offering top quality gastronomic treats for those with a passion for food. We love our cheese, meat and bread – that is why we have opened this, our first shop.

“That’s what a Gorgonzola should look like,” says Partisan Cheesemonger & Deli.

“We offer an unparalleled level of enthusiasm, passion and knowledge about our products.”

Owen is a Guildford resident, having moved to the area one year ago with his wife and young son. Mike lives in Liphook with his wife, son and they are expecting their second child in December.

Both Owen and Mike have a history of working in food and a longstanding obsession with cheese. They decided to go into business together in the summer of 2015 and have worked since then to bring Partisan Cheesemonger & Deli to life.

They added: “We want to make Partisan part of the fabric of the Guildford community. We want this to be your deli as well as ours, so your feedback is invaluable.
