Smash-and-Grab Raider Thought to Have Ridden Off On a Bike

A burglar is believed to have escaped on a bicycle after smashing through a shop window and stealing cigarettes and cash.

Police were called to Morrisons Daily in Stoughton Road, Guildford, at around 4.45am on Saturday, November 2nd.

The burglar smashed through the front window, stealing cigarettes and cash, and is believed to have escaped on a bicycle down Hornbeam Road. As he left the store, CCTV footage caught him walking with a limp.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft 10in tall and of a skinny build. He is believed to be aged between 18 to 30 and was wearing all-black clothing.
