St Peter’s Students All Dressed Up For Their Prom

Prom season has arrived so summer must be here! Year 11 students from St Peter’s Catholic School in Merrow celebrated the end of their exams with a party at Wates House at the University of Surrey on Wednesday evening (June 26).

More than 150 students dressed up in ball gowns and suits, many of them arriving in style in a range of specialist vehicles.

Families and friends turned out en masse to witness the spectacle on a warm and sunny evening.

One group of girls first went to the Manor House Hotel at Newlands Corner to prepare for the prom. They then travelled in style in a white limousine to the party.

Others arrived in vehicles including a red double-decker bus, a fire engine, a huge American truck, an armoured car, sports cars and even a restored Ford Anglia!

At the prom they let their hair down and partied the night away.
