None of the three local men arrested, all aged 19 years, have yet been charged with any offence following the fatality at Guildford railway station last month.

British Transport Police investigations continue and the three men are due to report off bail in May.

Ryan Harrison, 22 years old from Woking, died on Saturday, March 30th when he fell between the train and platform five of Guildford station. His fall followed an altercation, understood to have been between a group of young men leaving the train and a group trying to board.

An autopsy found that his injuries were consistent with such an event and that it appeared he had suffered a punch or blow before he fell. The train did stop immediately it was realised what had happened but not in time to prevent the fatal injuries.

Mr Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics who attended.

A British Transport Police spokesman confirmed that no station staff were present on the platform at the time of the incident but that was normal for the time of night, 1145pm.
