Surrey Drug And Alcohol Carers Receives Lord-Lieutenant’s Award

Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care (SDAC) has been recognised for its outstanding support to the community in dealing with the challenges of the pandemic.

Judge Robert Frazer presents SDAC’s Wendy Coad with the Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey’s award.

It comes in the form of an award from the Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux.

The award was presented on his behalf by Judge Robert Frazer on August 11.

At the presentation he commented on how alcohol and drug use lies at the root of so many of the cases he sees in court.

SDAC provides a confidential helpline and a free counselling service for Surrey residents concerned about alcohol or drug use.
