Theatre Group’s Musicals Through The Ages, June 8 and 9

Meadowlark Theatre Productions’ next showcase is Musicals Through The Ages, a chronological journey through the history of musical theatre, from 1930 all the way up until present day.

There will be songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Hairspray, Wicked and more.

This amateur musical theatre group is for people aged 16 and over. Cerys Jones, its marketing manager, said: “We’ve been lucky enough to get some fantastic new members for this showcase, along with some wonderful returning members who will be taking to the stage with us again after performing in our debut showcase in February.”

There will be two shows, Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, at the Arts Centre Guildford, 221 Epsom Road, Merrow, GU1 2RE. Doors at 7,45pm, curtain up at 8pm.

It meets for rehearsals on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm and on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm. (1-5pm), at The Arts Centre Guildford.
