Two Car Collision in Recreation Road

Motorists where warned by twitter this morning (March 7th) of a road accident in Recreation Road, Guildford. It is another example of the growing use of social media to keep the public informed of incidents and police operations.

A police spokesman later said: “Surrey Police attended a two vehicle road traffic collision in Recreation Road, at the junction with Chestnut Road, at around 11am today (Thursday, March 7th).

“A silver Renault Clio was in collision with a white Vauxhall Corsa. There were no reports of any injuries.”
