Witness Appeal Following Burglary in Tongham

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Elm Lane, Tongham. The incident took place on November 17.

It is believed the suspect entered the property at some point between 7 and 7.30pm. A number of items were taken including jewellery with sentimental value.

A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area or have any further information around this burglary to contact us quoting PR/45220124906 via:

“If you do not wish to leave your name, please call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

An earlier appeal to help find a wanted man, Martin Shearman, has been cancelled. He has now been located.
