Woman And Child Face Abuse During Incident At Supermarket Car Park

Surrey police are appealing for witnesses following an altercation in a supermarket car park during which a woman and her child were verbally  abused.

The woman was also spat at during the incident at Morrisons in East Hill, Oxted.

The altercation, which took place towards the front of the store near the parent and child parking spaces, happened on Saturday, May 2, between 12.30pm and 12.45pm.

Police said: “We would particularly like to speak to a white man described as being around 5ft 10 inches tall, in his 60s, with tattoos around his ear and neck. He was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki-coloured trousers and glasses, and had a shaved head. We believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries.”
