The E-fit of a man Surrey Police would like to talk to.
Detectives are hunting a burglar who fled a property in Shalford after a woman occupant confronted him last Thursday (February 7).
Police were called at about 6.50pm to the property, close to Tillingbourne Road. Detective-Sergeant Mark Butterworth, of Guildford CID, said: “This is a disturbing burglary; but I would like to reassure people that we are working to identify the person involved. We will be running extra patrols in the area to provide reassurance.
“We are pursuing several lines of enquiry but I would urge any members of the public with additional information to get in touch with us. If you were in the area at the time and you saw anything suspicious, or you have any dashcam footage, please contact us because it could be a vital aid.”
Police have issued an E-fit of a man they would like to talk to and officers will be in Shalford tonight (February 14) to provide community reassurance and make enquiries.
