Woman Seriously Injured in Ripley Collision

A woman was seriously injured when her car collided with a crash barrier on the A3 near Ripley this afternoon (December 11).

The collision, involving a silver Audi A3, took place on the southbound carriageway around 4.30pm.

The female driver was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with injuries to her pelvis.

The carriageway was partially closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Surrey Police is asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any other information, to contact their Collision Investigation Unit on 01483 639922, quoting incident reference P16283141.
