Channel 4’s ‘Location, Location, Location’ is planning to come to Guildford, Woking and the surrounding areas to film an episode for the new series. Their help will be much needed given that the average property price in Guildford was £521,806 in March 2018 (https://www.foxtons.co.uk/living-in/guildford/).
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are property experts who aim to help people find their dream home. They will be in Guildford this coming September, ready to face the challenge of combining house dreams with budget realities.
In a February 2018 survey, published by the Sun, Guildford ranked first as the town outside of London with the most properties worth over £1 million, the total was 5,889 homes. It seems Guildford isn’t in short supply of dream houses, but they come at a price.
Perhaps the Channel 4 team is aware of the difficulty, particularly for first-time buyers in the area, since they want to encourage chain free buyers struggling to find the right property to apply.
They are looking for all types of buyers, whether you’re upsizing or downsizing, buying your first property or hoping to find your ideal home.
