Preview: Royal Marines Band – Saturday, October 19

The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines HMS Collingwood is coming to G Live in Guildford – promoted by Seafarers UK, the leading maritime charity – on Saturday, October 19, at 7.30pm.

The popularity and following of the Royal Marines Band Service is as strong as ever and, as in previous years, these talented musicians will provide the audience with a wonderful evening’s entertainment in support of Seafarers UK. Also appearing in this year’s concert is the Senior Chamber Choir of St Catherine’s School Bramley.

Seafarers UK is an umbrella charity which includes the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the Merchant Navy and the Fishing Fleets.  They raise thousands of pounds annually for those in need in the maritime world, giving grants to related charities – in fact, last year grants to beneficiary organizations amounted to £2.5 million.
