Altercation at Wetherspoons Leaves Two Men Injured

A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following an altercation in Guildford yesterday, March 9.

Police officers were called to Wetherspoons in the town centre at around 8.15pm. Part of the pub on Bridge Street was cordoned off while investigations took place.

Two men suffered injuries and were taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital.

A police spokesperson said this morning (March 10): “One man suffered non-serious injuries as a result of a bladed article. Another man suffered unconsciousness from being kicked and punched.”
