Appeal For Witnesses Over Attacks In A Park And At A Nightclub

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses to two separate attacks that have taken place in a Guildford. A man was attacked and robbed in a park and a woman was assaulted at a nightclub.

Feature Surrey police badge 3The man was approached by two men in Allen House Gardens and struck on the head with a bottle on Thursday last week (April 24) between 5pm and 5.20pm.

The two men then escorted the victim through York Road and Stoke Road to a secluded courtyard in Eagle Road where he was punched to the ground.

They then demanded money and made off with £50.

A 40-year-old man and 32-year-old man, both from Guildford have been arrested on suspicion of ABH and robbery.

The woman, 18, was waiting in the queue outside the female toilets at the Casino nightclub around 2.30am on April 15 when she was grabbed and knocked to the floor. She was kicked and punched before being bitten just above the jawline on the right side of her face.

She was taken to Frimley Park Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
