Book Now For Christmas Day Tours Of The Spike

Bookings are now being taken for Christmas Day tours of Guildford’s iconic workhouse building, The Spike.

There will be two of these popular one-hour tours at 10.30am and 11am. The tour guides will be The Spike’s general manager John Redpath and local historian and writer David Rose.

Hear what Christmas Day was really like in the era of the grim workhouse! Spoiler alert! It was a bit better than you may think!
