A spokesperson from Vivid said: “This is an opportunity for people to find out how key themes have been addressed and issues raised throughout the community engagement process.

“The vision is for much-needed housing, including 40% affordable homes, in a sustainable, attractive new neighbourhood with improved connections with the town centre for all residents in the area”.

The developers hope to submit a planning application in Autumn 2021.

Mike Shepherd, Group Development & New Business at VIVID, said: “The response we received from the community in late 2019/early 2020 when we were working on our initial proposals was fantastic.

“Like so many, the pandemic had an impact on our stakeholders and on our own operations, so we’re very pleased to be able to come back now and show people how their great ideas have helped us with the designs for new homes and public spaces.”

The Very Reverend Dianna Gwilliams, Dean of Guildford, said: “We remain committed to creating a new neighbourhood which responds to the needs and wishes of the Guildford community. We hope that people will come along to the webinar, ask questions and see how they have influenced these plans.”

You can register via Zoom for the webinar or email info@housegroup.co.uk for registration details.

A recording will be available online after the event, along with the presentation information.
