Covid Update: Has Infection Rate Peaked?

Covid infection rates have dropped in the last week and observers will be hoping that the downward trend can be sustained as we move into mid-spring.

Guildford’s rate is median within Surrey while the infection rate in the county is the fifth-highest in the table of counties and boroughs that border Surrey.

Deaths remain low but the numbers are persistent.

But Covid might not have been the main cause of death and numbers of patients admitted with Covid are the highest they have been in the previous ten-month period although still low in the Royal Surrey.
