“Super moon” rising – viewed from The Mount

Dan writes: “We recently saw another ‘super moon! They are rare occurrences where the moon passes significantly closer to the earth than normal. We headed up to one of our favourite spots in Guildford, The Mount, and captured some images.

“This summer we experienced some pretty amazing changes in temperatures which brought on spectacular thunder storms to Surrey. Most of the images and the video (click here to view) were shot from The Mount.

“GuilFest 2014 Recap! I attended this year’s GuilFest music festival with our new drone technology to get some aerial footage of the event. We also put together a short video (www.elevatecam.com) from out attendance on the Sunday which ended up becoming the official video for this year.“

Dan James has also been busy creating a 2015 calendar full of fantastic colour images of Surrey. It contains photos taken by contributors to the Facebook site Beautiful Surrey.
