It is the turn of the leaders of the Independent councillors at Guildford Borough Council to go under the spotlight.

Guildford Dragon editor Martin Giles, puts Tony Rooth and Colin Cross on the spot, asking a range of questions on: the organisation of the Independent councillors and candidates, their recent public meetings of the Residents for Guildford and Villages (R4GV) the apparent electoral pact or agreement with the Guildford Greenbelt Group, their vision for Guildford, their ability to influence Guildford Planning should they be successful in May and secrecy at GBC.

The interview was filmed by Megan Scott on Tuesday, March 12. We are grateful to Ripley Parish Council for allowing the use of their parish office.

Subsequent to the interview, it was revealed that R4GV is now being registered with the Electoral Commission as a political party.
