Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses after 11 electric bikes, worth a total of £41,000, were stolen from an industrial unit in Merrow Business Park in Guildford during the night of Tuesday-Wednesday (May 10-11).
The police believe five suspects broke into the unit sometime overnight before stealing a nearby Citroen van which they used to transport the e-bikes to the Bristol area.
Police Constable Phil Dagnall, who is investigating the case, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has seen these bikes being sold online, or has possibly been approached to buy one themselves.
“All of the e-bikes were stolen without their chargers and will have no documentation to show where they have been bought from.
“If this sounds familiar and you think you may be able to help with our investigation, please get in contact with us.”
