Find Out About GBC Election Candidates in Your Area with Our Candidate Summaries

Do you want to know more about who the candidates are in your area? Party literature comes through our letter boxes but we hear very little about the candidates themselves.

The Dragon asked candidates from each of the parties to tell us a little about why they are standing to be a member of Guildford Borough Council at the elections on May 4.

We asked them for 150 words to set out their motivation for standing and what they will try to do if they get elected.

We have created candidate profiles with their own words for all candidates in the 21 wards, listed alphabetically.

Most aspiring councillors have responded but not all.
