Fun In The 1950s at Guildford Baptist Church’s Holiday At Home

Guildford Baptist Church is hosting its popular Holiday at Home event again on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 19, 20 and 21.

This year’s theme is ‘Fun in the 1950s’

Meet up with friends old and new, enjoy various activities and talks, have some good food and some much-needed fun.

Highlights include local historian and writer David Rose’s illustrated talk Guildford and its Rock ‘n’ Roll Years, with the addition of some live music by David and his friends Mick Douglas and John Kelly, on the Tuesday.

On the Wednesday, Showstopper with Ruth White and The Keepers’ Tale Theatre Club.

On the Thursday,  Say It With Poison with Russell Bowes, garden historian and raconteur.
