Guildford Choral invites you to an evening of festive music with its Christmas concert, O Come, Emmanuel, on Saturday, December 13, at 7.30pm, held in the historic Holy Trinity Church, Guildford.
At the heart of the programme is Alan Bullard’s evocative O Come, Emmanuel – an Advent sequence weaving together seasonal hymns with choral and soprano settings of Christmas texts, from ancient scripture to modern poetry.
This inspiring work will be complemented by a selection of beloved carols for choir and audience.
Featured performers:
Milly Forrest, soprano – praised for her crystalline tone and expressive artistry.
Fraser Tannock, trumpet – bringing brilliance and warmth to the festive soundscape.
Guildford Choral – a fully auditioned ambitious choir of 150, who strive to reach the highest standards.
Conducted by Jonathan Willcocks, whose musical leadership invariably ensures a polished, professional performance.
Join Guildford Choral for an evening that promises musical beauty, seasonal joy, and a shared sense of wonder.
Tickets £10, £20 and £26 available via Guildford Choral’s website, or by emailing boxoffice@guildfordchoral.org
