This week there were 199 runners, of whom 29 were first timers and 30 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 21 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Chris DYSON (SM25-29) (unattached) was first over the line in 17:59 – first appearance.
Ben OSBORN (SM35-39) of Stragglers, was second over the line in 18:29.
Simon Mark LUFFRUM (SM35-39) (unattached) was third over the line in 18:50.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 2,516 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 2,219 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 2,111 pts.

Women’s placings:
Eleanor HARRISON (JW15-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first (12th overall) over the line in 20:43 – 15th time in 23 appearances.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (15th overall) over the line in 20:58 – has been first to finish on four previous occasions.
Stacy FAIRHEAD (SW25-29) (unattached) was third (20th overall) over the line in 21:10.

Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 2,834 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 2,368 pts.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (Guildford & Godalming AC) 2,068 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
William SIMM (JM14) was graded 77.01% for the time 19:52 (fifth overall).
Clare SYLVESTER (VW50-54) was graded 75.91% for the time 22:21 (33rd overall).
Anthony ALDRED (VM65-69) was graded 74.54% for the time 22:43 (37th overall).

The women’s record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2014 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
