The Guildford-based halow project is celebrating the achievements of the people aged 16-plus it supports who have learning disabilities.
And the charity is encouraging people to share their support in ‘Love halow’ month, throughout February.
The charity works with more than 200 people with a learning disability on their journey to independence.
It supports them to build relationships and to socialise, to feel part of their community, to gain skills to find suitable employment, and the charity assists them with living independently.
Go along and have a chat with the halow team and people supported by the charity at one of its bucket collections.
On Tuesday, February 14, from 9.30am to 1.30pm and on Thursday February 16, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm) they will be greeting shoppers at Guildford’s main Tesco store.
On Friday and Saturday February 24 and 25, from 9.30am to 1.30pm, you can drop in a donation at The Friary centre in Guildford.
